Sustainably designed iconic Riverside Café located on the banks of the Taylor River in the heart of Blenheim. The triangular shaped site is rich with history, having been the former site of the Council aviary and sitting opposite Blenheim's first place of business, the Raupo store which was operated by James Wynen for riverside trading. The purpose built eco-friendly cafe features 350mm rough sawn pine beams, the old Matai floorboards from the former RSA building and a number of energy efficient design initiatives. |
