Airport Management

 

Airport Management is a multi-faceted property management task, encompassing day to day administration and maintenance, long term development and strategic planning as well as specialised aviation requirements under CAA Rule Part 139.

 

APL Blenheim manages Marlborough Airport Limited under contract to MDC Holdings Ltd (a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Marlborough District Council) and APL Queenstown manages commercial property at Wanaka Airport. Drawing from our broad base of property management and administration, engineering and project management expertise we deliver a tailored airport management solution.

 

  • Efficient off-site management is maximised through robust relationships with tenants, surveillance and communications technology, such as CCTV.
  • In specialised areas such as aircraft landing fees and security APL uses customised software able to be tailored to accommodate changes where required.
  • APL holds a Coordinated Incident Management Systems (CIMS) Certificate from the Emergency Management Academy of New Zealand.
  • APL attends all New Zealand Airports Association (NZAA) Association meetings and is actively involved in aviation industry issues. We also created and edit the NZAA newsletter (see www.nzairports.co.nz/news.php), and sit on the NZA Environment Committee.
